Fullport Backwater Valve

Fullport Backwater ValveThe Mainline #4963 Full-Port Backwater Valve is the ‘flagship’ of the company. Established in 1997, this valve has revolutionized sewer protection across North America with its patented ‘normally open’ gate design. This valve is typically installed in homes or buildings that have basements, cellars, crawl spaces or area that are accessible for servicing. The normally open gate allows the sewer system to ‘vent’ any gases that may be causes by positive or negative pressures in the sewer line. The 4963 has a ‘Clear View’ top that makes inspection of the valve quick and simple for the building owner or plumber! As well, the 4963 comes with an integral clean-out for rodding the sewer lateral. Should rodding from the stack be necessary, the snake can easily pass over the open gate and be retracted with out doing any harm to the components.

Adapt-a-Valve

Adapt-a-ValveThe Adapt-a-Valve Extendible Backwater Valve was invented because there was a need to have easy access to enable servicing of backwater valves deeper than 2 feet. The only other options were expensive and unsightly ‘vaults’ or ‘access culverts’ in which someone had to crawl down to service the backwater valve. Another option, which was strictly against code but done by unscrupulous persons, was to completely bury a valve with no intention of ever servicing the backwater valve. The Adapt-a-Valve not only made extendible backwater valves easy to install, inspect and service, but with the special gate slot molded right into the body, it could easily be used for ‘pressure’ testing the ground works by adding the Test Gate feature. Hence, the name Adapt-a-Valve – because it could be adapted to various functions!

Inspection Chamber

Inspection ChamberAn Inspection Chamber is a clean-out generally installed at the property line of a building. It allows the municipality or city to access the sanitary or storm sewers without disturbing the building owner. The municipality or city can service the laterals to the building with cleaning equipment for blockages or they can camera the lateral for inspection purposes. An Inspection Chamber installed at the property line can indicate whether the blockage is on the building owner’s side or the city/municipality’s side and whose responsibility it is for cleaning. Inspection Chambers can also be used for ‘sampling’ what is going through the lateral should the need arise to take samples. The Mainline Adapt-a-Valve Inspection Chamber is versatile in that it can be adapted to become an extendible backwater valve or can be used to pressure test the lateral or isolate the lateral if need be. The body of the Mainline Adapt-a-Valve Inspection Chamber has a special slot molded right into it that is designed to accept the backwater valve gate or the test/isolation gate. It is the only inspection chamber on the market that can be used as an inspection chamber, backwater valve and test/isolation device and that is why we call it the Mainline Adapt-a-Valve Inspection Chamber!

Test-Eze-Tee

Test-Eze-TeeThe Test Eze Tee was produced because there was a need for a safe, economical, and easy to use method for pressure testing DWV drainage systems. The Test Eze Tee can be used for extendible or non extendible pressure testing, horizontal and vertical pressure testing. This fitting is available for 3” pipe with a 4” riser for extendible applications. The test gate is a disc with an o-ring that slides into the Test Tee (o-ring on the ‘test side’)for pressure testing up to 50 psi (100+ feet) The Test Tee has two knockouts built into the body. By knocking out the knock-out and solvent welding a piece of ½” pipe and hose connection you may fill the system through the tee!
